There are many places to take in when on a vacation to San Antonio. You can investigate history, shop, take a boat ride or just have fun. You can start with visiting the most popular site, The Alamo. This is not only interesting, but educational. There are several Alamo tours, including a night tour call Alamo Ghosts. Family fun abounds in San Antonio. The Schitterbahn Water Park is number one in the world of waterparks. This is 65 acres of wet fun. SeaWorld has sea lions, dolphins and is the world's largest marine life part. In the evening you can go to Scobee Planetarium to see the heavens projected on to a 30 foot screen. This can change your perspective of the night sky.
There is another waterpark called Splashtown; it is fun for all ages.
If you are ready for a little more history, there are several museums. You can start with the Texas Range Museum, which will give you information of this famous agency. Or, for all the South Texas history, you should visit the Witte Museum. After the museum you should have lunch on the Riverwalk. There are quite a few great restaurants on the Riverwalk. You can have a fast bite or an enjoyable sit down meal. After lunch you can enjoy a leisure stroll and visit the many shops to pick up souvenirs to take to your friends at home. Now you can rest up by taking a short river cruise.
Before you leave San Antonio you will want to view the Anti Gravity House from the Tejas Observation Tower. Fun and San Antonio go hand in hand.
